My Flatmate Mollie

-By Rebecca Day

Feb 2021

My social life since Covid-19 has been the strangest time of my life. During this time, I have moved to Liverpool John Moores University and met some of my best friends, one of which is my flatmate Mollie. Here, I have drawn the subject in biro and then completed some simple collages to represent emotion. Covid has forced me to stay indoors with the same group of people, doing the same thing everyday- it soon gets repetitive, without this though, I wouldn't have made such deep and personal connections with my flatmates. Sometimes it just feels numb, no emotion and I often find myself staring into space; sometimes I'm crying until there's nothing left to give; sometimes I cant wrap my head around how we got in this mess.
